  • Waste of time!

Very immature ideas expressed. Too much giggling. Will not return.

  • Smart, fun, entertaining and unique

There are way too many "two dudes rambling on about movies they like" podcasts in the world. This is not that pdocast. The hosts are smart, witty, and well-informed and their conversations are thought-provoking, "high-level," and super-smart, but never snobby or long-winded. They make me think harder about the movies I've seen and the "work" those movies are doing in our society, and they make me want to see the movies they discuss that I haven's seen. Which is, I think, the highest compliment s... more

  • Fun and thought provoking podcast on all genres of movies

I love listening to Nicole, Stacy, and their guests. They feature all sorts of movies across different genres so there's always something interesting for them to talk about. The hosts and their rotating guests are passionate about their opinions, hilarious, and make the show fun, but also have great comments on the cultural context of the films. They also make interesting parallels to other films, both old and new, which I appreciate as someone who doesn't know a ton about film history. Would de... more

  • If you like movies, you'll like this podcast

Reviewing a wide range of movies -- everything from "Tarzan" to "Moonlight" -- the hosts have consistently great energy and interesting conversation. The social issues aspect sets them apart from other movie podcasts, and their thoughtful commentary makes you want to see the movies if you haven't (or rewatch them if you have) to catch the nuances. A fun and provocative listen!
