Came here looking for a Turbo Kid review and stayed for a great podcast that is funny, intelligent and full of bizarre recommendations!
I love this podcast so so much. Dan and Conrad are funny, insightful, and so intelligent. Their hard work and passion is evident in every single episode. From writing their own jingles for every episode, to watching different cuts of each film, to researching directorial intent, each episode is packed with all of their love. And I am here for it. Beyond all this, they are so kind and respectful to their fans and patrons. Movie Oubliette has created an amazing community of fans, geeks, and cineph... more
Great podcast with two fantastic hosts. Very entertaining, not always the most comprehensively researched, but very solid and well produced.
That said, there is an annoying tendency for the podcast to go way too woke - especially the episode on Bigelow’s ‘Strange Days’ which included the most annoying guest (the only episode that I struggled with). Thankfully it is not a persistent problem, more a periodic problem.
Overall, an excellent podcast.
