Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

All Blacks vs Ireland in Eden Park | All Black Loose Forward Luke Jacobson (17/7/26)
Q: Now you've obviously got a great relationship with the new coach, Dave Rennie. Just tell us what he's brought into this environment.
Jacobson describes Rennie as genuine with a good balance between hard work and allowing players to switch off, which helps maintain a healthy camp culture and keeps players at their best.
Blackcaps Test Series Win in England 2026 | Blackcaps Spinning All-Rounder Mitch Santner (30/6/26)
Q: Just to go back to the start of this test match, winning the toss, how important really was that opening stand between Devin Conway and Tom Latham?
It was massive; a good toss with favorable conditions allowed us to set up a strong foundation, and the opening stand put us in a position where the rest of the side could push on.
Blackcaps Test Series Win in England 2026 | Blackcaps Spinning All-Rounder Mitch Santner (30/6/26)
Q: Mitch, congratulations. That must feel immensely satisfying what you've done here at Trent Bridge.
Yeah, those stats are nice, but more importantly the team stuck to the plan through the series, with everyone chipping in and performing when called upon, which made this win possible.
World of Golf Update | Elite Golf Analyst David Bieleski (1/7/26)
Q: What makes the BMW International Open and its field interesting this year?
The field is strong for a tournament mid-season, with top players chasing momentum into the Open Championships; Bieleski highlights the mix of live-tour players and strong ball-strikers like Joaquin Nieman and Patrick Reed, and explains how course characteristics at Munich favor players with accuracy and texture control.
World of Golf Update | Elite Golf Analyst David Bieleski (1/7/26)
Q: Who are your tips for the John Deere Classic this weekend?
Dave Bieleski leans toward Ben Griffin as the headline bet due to his current form and strength with 100-150 yard approaches, while also noting solid upside for Jacob Bridgman and a deep bookie beater in Ben Coles for top-40 finishes.
