  • Faith and giving

Comes voluntarily not through lies, receipt and enforcement through the same methods, including forcing people to live on the street. That does not demonstrate faith, what it demonstrates is religion.

Avoiding the Hidden Fees of Credit Cards
Q: Let's go to Florida Marie. How does one start investing at age 67?
Evaluate retirement readiness, maximize Roth IRA contributions for both spouses if earned income is present, and allocate remaining savings toward a diversified plan that balances growth with preserving purchasing power, while coordinating with tax planning to optimize after-tax returns.
What You Need to Know About IRAs
Q: You can contribute to a traditional or Roth IRA even if you also participate in a workplace plan like a 401(k) or 403(b).
Yes, you can contribute to an IRA even if you have a workplace retirement plan, and there are annual contribution limits that may affect how much you can contribute.
Money is a Tool
Q: Is it better to consolidate debt or pursue a debt management plan for the mother-in-law's credit cards?
Avoid new consolidation loans; pursue debt management with a nonprofit Christian credit counseling service to reduce interest rates and keep debt where it is, which helps principal reduction without extending payoff time excessively.
Money is a Tool
Q: What should Kathy prioritize given significant debt and retirement planning?
The advisor recommends paying off high-interest personal loans first, building an emergency fund of about six months, then using a debt snowball approach and consulting a certified Christian Financial Counselor to create a budget and a plan to rapidly reduce debt.
How Christian Investors Can Combat Human Trafficking with Will Lofland
Q: Is there a general rule about reporting thresholds like $2,000 for non-preaching income?
There isn't a universal $2,000 exemption; clarify with a CPA, as some income types have different reporting rules.
