While I enjoy the show, I’ll be unfollowing and no longer listening. If you pay for the subscriber edition to enjoy early and ad-free, imagine my surprise to be hearing ads throughout the show. Absolutely no. Ad-free should mean ad- FREE!
Update: please don’t bring back Dr Tristan Angles (sp?) - she sounds like she is verbatim reading from a book report to a group of 5th graders. It’s painful to listen to and takes away from flow/professionalism of the podcast. Stick with Venessa! She is a great host.

They use trusty old stand-bys like "The Manson Family" and "Heaven's Gate" and they never even try to offer any new info or even a surprising opinion or hot take... They also don't care how many city names and surnames they butcher with mispronunciations.... more
I like the types of cases discussed on this podcast; it's definitely true crime, but the stories are ones I've (mostly) not heard before. It's frustrating trying to find a TC podcast that covers cases that haven't been discussed ad nauseum.
While I do enjoy Nicole Lapin as narrator, she falls into vocal fry towards the end of every sentence. So far it's bearable, but I can see it becoming an issue for me (sooner than later likely).
I hope Nicole sees feedback in any review as beneficial, and ... more

I really do enjoy listening to Nicole Lapin narrate, however she often tends to use vocal fry towards the end of her sentences. So far it's bearable, but I can foresee it becoming an issue for me sooner than later. I hope Nicole can use this info as construc... more
