I like the types of cases discussed on this podcast; it's definitely true crime, but the stories are ones I've (mostly) not heard before. It's frustrating trying to find a TC podcast that covers cases that haven't been discussed ad nauseum.
I really do enjoy listening to Nicole Lapin narrate, however she often tends to use vocal fry towards the end of her sentences. So far it's bearable, but I can foresee it becoming an issue for me sooner than later. I hope Nicole can use this info as construc... more
I love the content and the research that goes into this show. I really wish Nicole wouldnt do that thing with her recorded voice. She sounds like she is trying SO hard to enunciate each and every word.
However, when she does interviews her voice is normal. And beautiful! She doesn’t need to play it up and have a “reporter voice”. Its almost a turn off and kinda makes me want to atop listening. But its interesting topics. So I’ll stay and hope she reads this. Lol
I’ve always been more of a murder/violence/gore kind of true crime listener. I’m bad at math and have never taken an economics class, but Nicole tells these stories in such a gripping and compelling way - I’m hooked! It’s so informative, I kind of wish it were an educational requirement to listen. Highly recommend.
Interesting and intriguing and presented top professionel
The material in this podcast is nothing new. Everything that you’ll hear is available in about 1000 other podcasts or TV shows. I understand that I could pay to not listen to ads, but since I can get this same information on so many other podcast or TV shows why would I bother paying? So it’s an OK podcast maybe it fills in a few details that other ones l... more
