Excellent work by both ladies. Vanessa is so easy to listen to, and Dr. Tristin is super knowledgeable in her field and they just work wonderfully together.

  • Good stories kinda sexist

I love listening to the stories and hearing about the childhoods that led to them.. but even when both men and women have experienced significant trauma in the past if the killer is a woman it seems like the doctor excuses behavior as a means to “not be controlled anymore” as a means to gain control whereas if the killer is a male he’s “trying to gain control” or is truly evil. There’s a just a complete difference in how the doctor explains the reasoning behind female and male killers.

  • Great Hosts and Info.!

I do not often enjoy the chit chat between pods with two or more hosts. I have enough of that in my life! However, host Vanessa and Dr. Tristin always have such a succinct, pleasant dynamic. The show stays focused, which I appreciate beyond! Loving it. Seriously, actually learning some very useful psych info. too! I agree with one of the last reviewers…PLEASE make an Ed Gein episode. Thank you, and keep it going!

  • Interesting

I like the show and hosts. However, I’m not a fan of Part 1 and 2 podcasts. Im busy. I’m forgetful. I can’t remember part 1. I need it all at once or I won’t bother…my opinion. Otherwise great listen and so interesting!
