Season 2 comes to a close with a lot of sturm, but not that much drang. Michael and Molly talk about how Chekhov might not have liked this episode, how Kevin isn't Jack Bauer, and how the Leftovers straddles the line between the real and the supernat... more
Meg just won't let the mystery be! Michael and Molly sat down to talk about episode nine: Ten Thirteen. They asked a lot of questions. The questions didn't avail much. The tagline for the episode may as well have been Oliver Goldsmith's maxim, "Ask m... more
This is quite possibly the worst podcast I've ever heard. The female host is ok but the male host is a joke. His recaps often include the words "I don't know" and "whatever". And his fake accent is so arrogant sounding. It seem's like he'd rather be doing anything else but this podcast. Perhaps he should just meet his co-host at a coffee shop to discuss the show in private-sans microphone.
I want to love this podcast, it has so much potential. It is the only podcast I can find that is on the first night the show is aired. Love the witty name, the music and the effects. But why, oh why, does the host hate the show so much?? I am always super pumped after an episode and then to tune in and hear the host completely unimpressed and basically hates the show- BUZZKILL!!!
I understand The Leftovers is a polarizing show, however, nobody seeks out a podcast of their favorite show to hear it be poorly analyzed by someone who doesn't even like it. The female host is alright and should consider joining another Leftovers podcast. The male should podcast something else, or never podcast again. The way he speaks is SUPER annoying. It's like listening to a podcast with Stefan from SNL for WAY too long. Please stop butchering my favorite show, sir.
Here's the big problem...with this podcast you can immediately tell there is no "preparation" in their podcast or editing ... To much rambling, incomplete sentences.. Interruptions ... Lack of tv show review "flow"
The gentlemen is worse than the female counterpart .
The biggest flaw or something the should improve on is> before they publish the podcast they need to listen to there own show first...
Biggest example was the Leftovers"lens" episode this was a very detailed intense show and

I listen to podcasts primarily for one reason - to gain knowledge on topics I'm interested in. And in order to do such, the hosts/guests of a podcast need to be more knowledgeable than I. Unfortunately, with Miracle, this is not the case.
I tried listening to two episodes (because it is the first released — like night-of-episode — which makes me wonder if these people are insiders or something, more on this later). First, neither host has "actually seen" the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey... Guys... more
A lighthearted & enjoyable discussion of the leftovers. Highly recommended!
