I’m an avid podcast consumer, loyally listening to my podcasts. I stumbled upon this one and it is fantastic. I binged the first 13 episodes during a long drive and it made me so happy. Great guests and a thoughtful host (finally one I don’t want to reach through and choke for being so obnoxious). Many episodes I’ve now listened to twice just to soak in every nugget of information. Filled a much needed niche for Minnesota gardeners! I drop whatever I’m listening to as soon as a new episode is re... more
Love listening to these informative podcasts. Brad does a good job of leading his guests to very interesting conversations but does not try to dominate the conversation. He lets his guests expound on their knowledge. Especially loved the episode on birding and episode 12 with Sven talking about climate change.
Enjoying the podcast and happy to get some area-specific information! Very informative and knowledgeable with great guests!

The host(s) frequently blend science, hands-on tips, and community-building, often promoting a membership drive and local resources. The format tends to mix field observations, how-tos, and interviews with local experts, making complex ecological ideas accessible for homeowners and hobbyists. Notable is the pivot toward a broader, habitat-friendly brand while maintaining region-specific Minnesota context, making it valuable for listeners seeking actionable, regionally relev... more
