Sal Licata is a master at his craft. He is engaging, knowledgeable and self deprecating at times. Exactly what a host of NY sports radio should be.

i'm done with him. he's a rude, obnoxious, mean-spirited know-it-all. fights with all his call-in guests. he doesn't interview them, he interrogates them, like they're on trial. he's become a traitor to yankees and ny. he puts them down. he's more of a red sox/patriats fan now. mike's also prejudiced toward women, minorities and blacks. his ego is huge but his soul is small. his interrogation of tannenbaum over the tebow hiring was the last straw. i kept hoping that mr. t would hang up on him. i... more

  • A Sports Commentator with a Real Brain and a Good Vocabulary.

I always look forward to hearing what Mike has to say. I don’t always agree with his commentary but he always makes a good argument. Mike has made many work commutes bearable for me. I have also found his show informative and pleasant on my walks during the CoVid crisis. One technical criticism I have is that I can hear his phone in guests louder than Mike himself.
