All of this has birthed the model minority myth as well as a myriad of stereotypes that don't consider nuance or the vastness of this continent. Meet artists, activists, writers, advocat... more

Really enjoying your show. Subscribed!
I love this podcast. The diversity of guests and points of view expand my understanding of the Asian experience.
Nisha,
Thank you for putting this together. Greatly appreciate your work and the insights it brings to all the listeners.
I adore the substance and form of this podcast. The host, Nisha, brings up so many voices but achieves brilliantly to oversee the structural and cultural questions of what it means to have Asian roots. Her natural interviewing qualities helps to understand more in-depth the struggles and challenges her guests may have faced. A really inspiring podcast that made me cried in the car more than once !
What an insanely honest and courageous podcast. Nisha is articulate on self revealing topics in a way that makes you rethink all your past experiences and dots you never connected about yourself. Genuine and authentic and very easy to listen to.
I love Nisha and all of her guests are fascinating and give me something to think deeply about. Great podcast!
I think I might be a MigrAsian? 🤔 I was surprised by how much I related to the interviewees, even though my background is so different. It’s nice to feel that resonance through a podcast! Plus, Nisha’s voice is so soothing, lol! Highly recommend.
Listening to these stories will open your heart and mind to the more recent migration experiences in the world today. As a fourth generation immigrant, I never really heard the stories of my great-grand parents’ coming to America. I appreciate these stories.
