What an awesome show. I hope y’all keep it up for a long time. Love from America
Possibly my favourite of all the podcasts that I listen to.
Both hosts are REALLY funny and the guests too.
I really was not expecting it to be this good with Woody not being a professional broadcaster but it is!!!
On the face if it, Sweeper and Owl are an odd couple, but this works brilliantly on this pod. It covers everything from international test cricket to the typically English aspects of the village / amateur game.

Have got back into cricket in the last year , this podcast is both informative and entertaining, the guest’s are absolutely brilliant
Always enjoy listening to Middle Please, Umpire as Miles Jupp, Mark Wood and their guests make for a great listen.
Even as an Aussie barracking for the great Australian Cricket Team against the poms, it feels like Middle Please, Umpire is less about historic and sometimes antagonistic rivalries and more about a love for the great game of cricket. Which frankly is a nice change of medium pace!
Cheers for a great podcast, I look forward to many more episodes.
