If you’ve ever driven a car, you know what it’s like to merge onto the highway. You’re a bit slow on the on-ramp, but you progressively pick up speed. Then you’re matching the other cars on the road. Soon, you’re going 90mph in a 65mph zone, blowing past all other drivers. This strange metaphor is my perfect way of describing “Metropolis”, a series which felt a little slow on th... more
Great story telling, sound design, music, voice acting! I can appreciate it takes time to produce a podcast of this calibre. But way too long between episodes. It has now been 6 weeks since the last one. I have pretty much forgotten what happened last, even have to remind myself of who the characters are. Save yourself considerable aggravation and wait until the season is done before beginning.
Wow. Only 3 eps in and loving it. Engaging and intelligent script writing keeps the story moving with micro movements/dialogue that add to the richness.
Production is five stars.
Again, I can’t ‘gush’ enough about the script writing!

Following the journey of ace reporter Nan Kanally as she investigates the disappearance of her friend Stanley Bronfels, the narrative explores profound emotional struggles while navigating an oppressive yet visually stunning environment populated by autonomous robots. Each episode reveals layered storytelling that delves into friendship, loyalty, and the darker consequences of progress in a society burdened by class division and moral dilemmas regarding artificial intelligence and robotics. The unique blend of rich character developmen... more
