An immersive mystery layered atop deep world building and stellar performances. The sound design is exactly what you'd hope for with this sort of retrofuturist scifi: mechanical, clunky, satisfying. So much heart, so much love went into this. One of my all-time favorite audiodramas.
Fantastic sci-fi mystery! Brilliant writing, setting, and sound design. Three eps in and can’t stop listening. Shout out to Windfall City for bringing me here and the Rossum’s Universal Robots reference!
I´m so happy "Give me Away" made a shoutout for this show! Like others have stated this show has its own special tone that reminisce on the tons of audio dramas that drew me in more than 10 years ago. It´s a slow burn in the most positive way possible, and just one episode in I can tell this is going to be one hell of a ride and a show I will keep coming back to. Excellent work from everyone involved
This is the kind of audio drama that made me fall in love with audio dramas in the first place.
Metropolis is so good! The main character, Nan, gets herself drafted to the city of Metropolis to investigate the disappearance of her best friend. I found the show funnier than I anticipated, but also scarier! Some of the sound design and music is incredibly unsettling! Eagerly awaiting what comes next!
