  • Mouth noises!

The content of the Ideal Parent podcast was OK, but George kept making mouth and swallowing noises, which can be pretty triggering to people with childhood sexual abuse histories…. Nothing personal against him, but I just can’t listen to that. Or choose not to.

George describes how preoccupied individuals often ask for what they want in indirect ways, leading to tension when caregivers are unable to meet their needs.
