I like the dynamic and always enjoy the special guests! A lot of fun to listen to at the gym, driving, or doing chores.
Thanks guys! Keeps it up!

Matt & Brett are great, and their guests are for the most part very complimentary to the hosts. With one, really annoying exception: Katy Healy Whatshername. High pitched and inarticulate, she defines the geek girl wannabe with a vapid heart.
I like it but that doesn’t like you will.
I listen to a lot of comics themed podcasts and each one has their various focus or niche, but Matt and Brett have, by far, the best insight and thoughtful commentary I've heard on any podcast about comics.
It so great to hear someone putting as much thought into comic fandom as they do. Keep up the awesome job!!
I've been listening to these guys for a year or so now, and always look forward to each week's new episode. The format is great - alternating weeks see various industry guests, book reviews both current and classic (sometimes out of left field), and reports from cons and other events.
What keeps me coming back, though, isn't any of that. It's the unabashed affection that Matt & Brett have for the medium that means so much to me. It's right in the title of the podcast - they really do just lo... more
One of the only comic related podcast to use a "bookclub" format. Instead of revewing only the current week's comics, they go back and review older story arcs/series. Listening to this is a good way to find comics to read that you may have missed.
Matt and Brett Love Comics rules. I've been listening to Matt and Brett Love Comics off and on since the first episode nearly two years ago. They're easily one of the best comics podcast I've came across. Because the show is in a Book Club format, it makes it easily accesible to get into, not to mention there's a great library of episodes with books you can read and then listen to the podcast for yourself. Matt and Brett Love Comics is like a conversation with friends, recommended.
These guys know their stuff and are a ton of fun to listen to. Nice wide range of comics are covered. Even if you haven't read what they're talking about you can follow along and enjoy quite easily.
In the past few years I have gotten burned out on the negativity of comic message borads. Just when I had given up hope, I found the positivity of this podcast to be a breathe of fresh air. It is great to find two people who love comics as much as I do and prefer to focus on their loves rather than hates. Matt and Brett have reviewed a ton of comics I love (90s X-Force FTW!) and introduced me to books I never would have given a chance. They do a great job of appealing to new and old fans ali... more
Been listening since the comic book club cross over. It makes me want to get the old comics and read along
This podcast is super fun and accessable. Always a good listen!
I just listened to the most recent episode and, like all the rest, found it fascinating, accessible even for people who don't know comics that well, and very interesting. I love the selection of books they read and their commentary is always entertaining.
Matt and Brett are great hosts who not only clearly love comics, but also have a reasonable approach to talking about them. Their commentary has brought my attention to new books, reminded me of old favorites and gotten me to look at older comics with a new perspective. Great stuff.
I discovered the show from comic book club and I actually like the show better bc they actually talk about comics instead of just making jokes. The one thing I hate is when they invite the woman on that hates EVERYTHING. I understand that she's the type that wants to be offended by everything she sees, but if she's always so offended + not a big comic book fan, why is she on the show? She offers nothing but negativity and I can't listen to the shows she's on.
if you like improv comedy and you like comic books, this is by far the best thing out there. After Ifanboy, sorry guys, i listen to this podcast every week. i love their discussions and how they treat each episode as not something that you have to listen toevery week, but you can pull any episode out and listen to it and not feel like your lost cause you are not in they know of comics in the now, does that make sense? check em out, i am sure they will make you laugh.
