Pam and Kim are a dynamic duo. I’m so grateful for their expertise and willingness to share with the rest of us. They have certainly impacted my classroom practice. I love that I can say, “Math is…” and my first graders respond “…figureoutable!” I hope they believe this to be true for the rest of their lives. Thanks Pam and Kim!
From asynchronous professional development, to books, to this podcast, Pam and Kim make all listeners think and question, “is there another way?” I started listening and couldn’t stop. This podcast is my yard work companion and my dishwashing learning. I truly can’t get enough. Keep up the amazing work. I’m so excited to share all I learn with my colleagues and to try some of the younger standards with my own kids.
I always thought I was good at math until I started listening to your podcast. Now I know I was good at mimicking and memorizing algorithms. The Mathisfigureoutable way makes so much more sense and I am addicted to learning more! Highly recommend!
I was not a podcast person until this year. I am a high school math teacher for 27 years who moved from being a mimicker to wanting my students to reason and explain their thinking without knowing that was what I was doing. This podcast helps me continue my journey to help more students think and reason. Thank you Kim and Pam, I look forward to binging this podcast.

A real mathematician is not going to visualize a stack of dimes, next to a clock at 12 o clock, counting down a number line, and draw a chart to add a couple double digit numbers. Procedure and conceptual u... more
