They discuss controversies over the marketing choices, especially criticisms regarding violence against women depicted in promotional materials.
X-Men: Apocalypse (2016) Part One - The History Of Apocalypse
Q: What are your thoughts on Apocalypse as a character in the X-Men franchise?
Both hosts discuss Apocalypse as a significant villain but emphasize how the movie adaptation doesn't do justice to the character's complexity and menace from the comics.

Q: Could you tell us about Miguel O'Hara?
Miguel O'Hara is the Spider-Man from the Cyberpunk future, known for his struggles against corporate greed and personal demons, having undergone a transformation that combines his DNA with that of a spider.
MVM Re-Release: Wolverine: X-Men Origins (2009)
Q: Do you care at all about Wolverine's past and his origin?
While I have a passing curiosity, I wouldn't want an entire film on it. A half-hour dramatization would suffice. It feels that the film dwell in less engaging areas of his past rather than more interesting narratives.
Venom & Spider-Man: The Alien Costume Saga (1994) - The First Time Venom Was Adapted For The Screen! Part One
Q: How did the character's design come to be such an iconic look?
Todd McFarlane became involved and designed the incredibly distinctive look of Venom, which included the large bulky bodybuilder frame and the huge toothy grin.
