Imagine starting a podcast about national parks when you’ve never even visited a single national park yourself. And you don’t know what pronghorns are. Or stalagmites. Or the meaning of the word “contiguous.” These hosts seem like nice people, and they’re moderately entertaining, but they are woefully unqualified and uninformed for this subject matter. I made it through about 15 mins of one episode. Neither host had been to said park and were clearly reading descriptions I could have read myself on the internet. Most of all, too many irritating, corny “jokes” such as repeatedly pronouncing “animals” as “aminals” and then clarifying the point in case there were any “idiots” out there who didn’t know they were making a “cute” joke.
