Unfortunately the sound quality on most of these podcasts is incredibly poor. The majority of them should never been uploaded, they are just static and inaudible voices.
This show is great and when it came out over 80 years ago, it was one of the top shows on radio. What especially made it popular was the host; famed Director Cecil B DeMille. This radio show, based on current movies of the time, stared Major Hollywood performers., often times the actors in the original movie.
I love listening to old radio shows, but the host is that same scary guy who tries to sell weird things for your TV. He even plays commercials over the top of the dialogue in the middle of the program. He could probably use some marketing tips.
