    1) What can be combined with immunotherapy?

    2) What can be done to prevent side effec... more

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Live from TTLC 2026: ADCs Controversies
Q: How do you define an antibody-drug conjugate and why is the warhead important?
An ADC is a targeted chemotherapy that combines an antibody to direct the payload to tumor cells with a cleavable linker that releases the chemotherapy inside the cancer cell; the warhead (payload) determines the cytotoxic mechanism, and while all components are important, the linker and payload critically influence release timing and bystander effects, which in turn affect efficacy and toxicity.

The immune system may cause rewiring of lung epithelial cells to become permissive to disease development, influenced by factors like air pollution and inflammatory microenvironments.
Lung Cancer Considered: IASLC Hot Topic in Basic & Translational Science Meeting Highlights
Q: Triparna, I want to start with you. Why has pre-cancer or early-stage disease become such a critical focus now?
Lung cancer research has shifted from late-stage metastatic disease to early detection due to advancements in understanding how lung cancer develops, recognizing the dynamic nature of pre-cancer lesions.
FDA Approval: Zongertinib for HER2 Mutant NSCLC
Q: Where will we fit this agent if it gets approved when it comes to treatment sequencing for HER2?
If approved, Zongertinib would initially serve as a second-line treatment after first-line options including platinum-based chemotherapy.
FDA Approval: Zongertinib for HER2 Mutant NSCLC
Q: What therapies are we using for first and second line therapy?
Currently, the standard of care includes platinum-based chemotherapy with or without immunotherapy for first line, and Trastuzumab diruxetocan as a second-line targeted therapy.
