  • Maybe it’s just not for me.

Today is the 5th anniversary of my son’s death. This podcast randomly showed up in my feed. I chose an episode about the loss of a child and it started out with a lot of giggling. It felt immature. It wasn’t something a grieving heart could hold. Maybe other episodes are better.

  • Thank you! 🙏

I am so incredibly thankful for Tara and her podcast. Her willingness to share her heart after the grief and loss of her parents has been such a blessing to me.

I lost my mom a year ago, and my father passed just six months later. During that time, I was desperately searching for even one person who could truly understand the depth of my grief and pain—and I found Tara.

214. Is Your Grief a Spiritual Awakening? Signs, Spirit Guides & Trusting Your Intuition with Jessica Rachel
Q: What are the different ways guides communicate, and how can someone know which is strongest for them?
Guides communicate through eight clairs, and people typically have one dominant channel (e.g., clairvoyance, clairaudience, claircognizance). You should identify your strongest sense by paying attention to how information typically arrives for you and then practice strengthening that channel while staying open to others.
214. Is Your Grief a Spiritual Awakening? Signs, Spirit Guides & Trusting Your Intuition with Jessica Rachel
Q: How can someone begin to develop and trust their intuition during grief?
Start by getting out of the head and into the body, do a few deep breaths or a short movement, and then call in your guides out loud. Notice the physical sensations and the type of information that comes through, whether it's a mental image, a sensation, or a voice in your head, and practice distinguishing it from your own thoughts.
202. Navigating Grief, Loneliness, and Losing the People We Love with Dr. Jody Carrington
Q: What is one thing you would say to someone living life with grief who feels stuck and survival-focused?
Give yourself full permission to stay there as long as you need, and treat grief as a nervous system issue—find ways to regulate your body to access the parts of you that can heal and carry on living.
195. Grieving the Death of a Brother: Addiction, Stigma & Finding Identity with Nina Rodriguez
Q: How has the lack of closure impacted your grief?
The lack of answers surrounding my brother's death added complexity to my grief, making it even more challenging as I struggled to make sense of the loss and the absence of information made the grieving process more painful.

Q: What tips do you have for staying nourished while traveling without feeling disjointed from trying new foods?
