As a professional appreciator of music with no actual skill, I love to hear the takes of actual professionals. The different opinions and inside info makes me look at the albums I love in a new way. Fingers crossed for a Bowie album dive. 🤞
On the Glass Onion song episode the narrators said Paul's "bike accident was Nov '66 and you could see his mouth injury in the Day Tripper promo video. Wrong and wrong. He injured it over Christmas time 1965 on a moped. You can see the effects in the Paperback Writer and Rain videos shot in spring of 1966. Your credibility is shot. I unfollowed.
Saw a performance of ‘Yesterday and Today’ at Nazareth College in Rochester, NY in March with my husband and we thought you all were brilliant!! (Just as an aside, it was pretty much the last fun thing we did before COVID). So excited to learn of your incredibly enjoyable podcast. Really informative and kind of hilarious. It’s always nice to hear a discussion of the Beatles from a musicians point of view, so this podcast is a treat. The two guys don’t pretend to be Beatles scholars, but they know enough to be able to discuss songs fluently with some historical perspective thrown in. They also don’t take themselves to seriously, so the banter is definitely on the humorous side. Gotta say I enjoy it and hope they continue.
