Celluloid Heroes on the Longbox Crusade is my new favorite podcast. I love the look back at 70s and 80s movies, but really enjoy the host’s ongoing story about what those movies meant to him and a whole generation of kids. The personal touch is what separates this podcast from so many other movie podcasts.
The Longbox Crusade is one of the best comic and fandom related podcasts out there! Great hosts, a variety of subjects, and lots of fun!
These heroes gathered from where ever crusaders come from . Provide great fun and in sight in to each show they do . It’s like Christmas every episode is a great present of fun .

P.S. (Insert cheap plug ) on my YouTube channel Bucky749. Where my bro Jeremy sometimes called kid yokai or the New Mexico kid . Review movies comics and novels and what ever else we can think of . Have a great week .
The Marvel run of the Transformers comic books series gets the LBC treatment, with honest takes on the classic series from longtime fans and relative newbies alike. The enthusiasm is strong, even during issues that may be “less loved” than others, and the conversations are always fun and as refreshing as pure energon :)
Love if Transformers, G. I. Joe, New Warriors and more. These guys talk about any and everything remotely related to the topic at hand and I love it. Plenty of ear worms and ridiculous running jokes from a group of friends with a noble purpose of reading comics.

A roundtable-driven show that blends deep dives into vintage comics, movies, and pop culture with warm, conversational banter. Episodes frequently feature expert guests and longtime fans discussing storylines, artwork, and era-specific context, all framed by nostalgia and community engagement. Noteworthy strengths include a cohesive, multi-host dynamic, strong focus on retro properties (GI Joe, Transformers, Spider-Man, Indiana Jones, etc.), and a knack for weaving personal memories with analytical commentary. The format often incorporates guest perspectives to broaden context and keep discussions lively for both hardcore collectors and casual fans alike.
