The content is fine, but her voice just is painful to listen to. At least give her a co-host. She seeems like a nice lady but she has a voice better suited for TV than a podcast. It’s like nails on a chalk board - sorry for being rude about it. i keep coming back hoping it changes.
The postcasts are fantastic and the reason I still subscribe. They are like the desert after listening to Gabby ramble for 30 minutes at a time in the filler episodes when there are no games. I think she would be better with a cohost but even the interviews with players she gets are weird like they are blowing her off or don’t like the questions. She has great passion for the Red Sox just think she could use somebody to bounce ideas of off. Postcasts I wouldn’t change a thing he does great and i... more
I want to love this podcast but it’s delivered so robotically. Gabby has to quickly learn to pause, breathe, accentuate. I mentally check out during the podcast because it’s so monotone.
She's very passionate & does multiple shows per week, so I tried to cut some slack, but honestly it's a tough listen. Audio quality could be better, but "sign Zack Wheeler" (not a FA) & avoid #2's like "Blake Snell" (while listing Walker Buehler as an ace) is gonna be it for me.
Gabby definitely has baseball knowledge, but needs to take some pauses when she talks and change the inflection. Hard to listen when she just goes on and on without pauses (except for ads of course). Maybe just slow down a bit.
