As a diehard Red Sox fan, it’s maddening to hear a Sox podcast where the hosts can’t even pronounce Worcester right or figure out that the team celebration is a plane, not a bird despite all of the reporting about the team's recent turbulent plane ride. They rarely fact-check, constantly say ‘I don’t know if this is true, but…,’ and clearly do next-to-zero prep. On top of that, it’s nearly all negativity — are you even fans? I get wanting to be objective, but it’s more a place to complain than o... more
Really good podcast. One of the hosts needs to use the ad revenue to subsidize a better internet package because he skips out every single time he’s on. We care about your opinions on the team, not about your petty rivalry with an ex-host cover the team not your drama.
Founder of podcast is Terry Cushman who has anointed himself the storyteller of Red Sox baseball. The only story he tells is a bitter one. He’s a man who never seems satisfied with anything about the team. His dismissive attitude gets old quick. What’s worse is the way he calls out people for their posts on X that he doesn’t like. The program goes through hosts constantly. Most, sooner or later quit or get kicked off the island by Cushman. The newest host is someone named Nick the Voice who is a... more
These guys don't add value beyond what you get in a barroom discussion with folks who don't follow the team too closely. Why should we listen to your opinions over anybody else. Often say "I don't know... but here's my opinion."
As a diehard Red Sox fan since ‘86, I have listened to this podcast for several years. The rotating crew headed up by Terry Cushman, brings a smart fan’s perspective with realistic opinions on the state of the team. The only reason I can’t give five states is that they have one host that in my opinion is almost impossible to listen to. He brings a charts and grafts approach in the extreme, as if he’s making a presentation to his CFO or worse, and every “take” seems scripted and rehearsed. I skip... more

The hosts often express their candid opinions while analyzing recent games and player statistics, giving insights into both the mechanics of the game and the organizational decisions that impact the team. The camaraderie among the hosts adds a layer of relatability, making it feel like a conversation among friends rather than a formal presentation.
One unique aspect of the discussions often involves a blend of humor and fan-driven critiques, where hosts share anecdotes and opinions that resonate particularly with the die-hard fanbase. While perspectives can oscillate between... more
