  • Sometimes good

I cant listen to an episode with Shukri… doesn’t pronounce any players or words correctly. Literally knows zero about most teams he is talking about and obviously doesn’t watch the games. Just a horrible listen when he is on … completely ruins the show. Nothing he says is insightful at all

  • Hit and Miss hosts

Most of the hosts are good, but any time I hear that mush mouth Shukri guy I skip the episode. I don’t know how you get a speaking job when you can’t enunciate.

  • Uneducated

I never leave reviews but I gave an episode a 20 minute listen and was met with 10-15 things that made me feel like the host does not know a thing about hockey, so out of touch

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

BREAKING: The New York Rangers Select Alberts Šmits 5th Overall | Difference Maker In The Big Apple?
Q: John, were you surprised by this pick?
Not necessarily; there was talk this could be a safe top five pick, with some fans hoping for Viggo Bjork. John explains the Rangers' context and why Šmits fits their plan, while acknowledging some risk and the appeal of a bigger, more physical defenseman.
BREAKING: The New Jersey Devils Select Alexander Command 12th Overall
Q: How are you feeling about this selection?
The host expresses intrigue while acknowledging the surprise nature of the pick and debating how it fits the Devils' needs and long-term strategy.
SHOCKER: The Flyers Offer a Record-Setting Offer Sheet to Leo Carlsson, This Will Change Everything
Q: Your initial thoughts on this move by Danny Breyer and the Flyers.
The move is bold and sets a high bar for future offers; it puts pressure on the Ducks to respond and reshapes the market for elite young players, while forcing the Flyers to weigh long-term cap implications.
BREAKING: The Toronto Maple Leafs Select Gavin McKenna 1st Overall | A FRANCHISE Talent Lands In Toronto
Q: Do you think he plays for the Leafs this year starting from game one?
Yes, there is expectation that he could push to be on the opening night roster, though it will depend on his adaptation and how he stacks up against veterans in training camp.
BREAKING: The Utah Mammoth Select Ethan Belchetz 17th Overall | Utah Adds MAMMOTH Winger
Q: Tom, your thoughts on Belchetz being added to the Mammoth's fold?
Tom notes that Belchetz's size and skating ability make him a prototypical power forward who can develop into a reliable two-way contributor, with emphasis on growing into his body and learning to use his size effectively while maintaining mobility and playmaking, potentially fitting into Utah's top six in the coming years.
