  • Hands Down, the Best Pod for KU Sports.

If you live for hot, controversial takes, this isn’t the pod for you. But if you want to listen to someone who balances his fandom with all the stats and all the data, Derek is your guy. Plus, he puts out LOADS of content. My first KU pod every single day.

  • Great Content, but…

This pod is helpful to preview upcoming Jayhawk games, with good presentation of stats to get an objective look at KU opponents and how the Jayhawks are likely to fare. But host talks way too fast, making this a tough listen at times. Locked On format is great and host is knowledgeable…just slow it down a notch.

Roster RESET: Kansas Faces MAJOR Transition After Flory Bidunga's Portal Move - What Will Self Do?
Q: What if Kansas can land Tyron Stokes, the number one recruit in the class of 2026, and how would that affect the starting lineup?
Landing Stokes would potentially lock in Kinney at guard, add a high-caliber wing at the three, and push other spots like the four and center into a competition with portal additions; overall it would give KU multiple viable starting lineup configurations and reduce the immediate pressure to fill every position via the portal.
BENCH BLUES: Can Jayhawks FIX Themselves - Best & Worst Lineups + Kansas Football Film Reviews
Q: What does the current lineup data imply about how KU should structure its rotation moving forward?
The data suggests prioritizing the five starters given their solid net rating and improving bench reliability, and exploring one or two bench players who can consistently contribute when paired with the starters to stabilize performance.

How Houston Win, Cincinnati Loss Impact Kansas Jayhawks Seeding | Bracketology Breakdown
Q: Do you think Kansas will get a one seed?
It's possible, but not very likely. UConn is one of the few teams that might have their one seed threatened, but Kansas would need to perform exceptionally well.
Paradox: Why Kansas is Struggling with Darryn Peterson on the Floor & MUST UNLOCK On-Court Chemistry
Q: What is going on with Darryn Peterson's performance and impact on the team?
Peterson is statistically better than most when off the floor, leading to questions on team chemistry and how KU functions without him.
