Jake and James do a great job! However the new “Bengals squad” shows are hot garbage. Overreactions and stupid hot takes. Please put those in a separate feed so I don’t have to unfollow Locked on Bengals, please!
This is tough. Jake and James are 5* all day every day. The new Bengals Squad episodes are unlistenable. I go on 90-120 minute dog walks every day and consume most Bengals content I can find, but this is ooooh. Nowhere near the standard set by James and Jake. I feel so bad for Jake and Mike Santagana being involved in this new venture. I love the concept of long format, but the host is unprepared, rambling and repetitive. Art is mailing it in, clearly has no knowledge of the issues of the Bengal... more
Best everyday Bengals podcast. I've been an everdayer since Andy Dalton was the starter.
If I wanted to hear all things great about the Browns I would had listen to a Browns podcast. I had to listen to a Browns supporter pontificate the greatest of the. Cleveland Browns’. Horrible podcast. At least someone should had countered the Browns argument but didn’t!
The commercials in the podcast are jarringly loud at times. This means the levels on the hosts’ audio needs to come up to meet the level of a proper commercial podcast. While I enjoy the podcast itself, I am reminded of this audio issue EVERY SINGE LISTEN when some randomly inserted ad for a bank or credit card comes screaming through my speakers. All they need to do is add a few dB of limiting at the end o their audio signal chain to reach the proper LUFS to fix this and I’ll give them 5 stars.... more
