  • Binge Listening

I got into this podcast through a recommendation on the Twelve Tribes episode. Had a couple of brushes with them in the early 2000s. Now binge listening from the beginning. Love the research and non-sensational, thoughtful presentation!

The Aggressive Christianity Missions Training Corps with Harrison Hill
Q: What led Lila Carter to become Deborah Green and take on prophetic leadership?

The Aggressive Christianity Missions Training Corps with Harrison Hill
Q: So first up, tell me about the ACMTC, the Aggressive Christianity Missions Training Corps. How did the organisation get started, and what were its main beliefs?
The ACMTC began in the 1980s, rooted in the counterculture era, founded by ex-hippies Jim and Deborah Green who formed a ministry led by Deborah's visions, positioning themselves as elite believers and opposing mainstream culture with a militant religious rhetoric.
Update: The Nannup Four
Q: What has been the response from the McDougall family and the community in Nannup?
The families and the small town have expressed appreciation for a sensitive, long-form treatment that preserves dignity while highlighting the impact of the disappearance and the potential for new developments through ongoing media coverage.
Update: The Nannup Four
Q: How has the Truth Fellowship and Gary Felton/Sid Kadwill history influenced your reporting?
Investigations into Felton/Kadwill's past revealed a transition from regular life to a complex belief system and coercive dynamics, including early influences in the UK and Australia, which help explain the patterns seen in Chantelle and Tony's involvement.
Update: The Nannup Four
Q: What can you tell me about the work of Barry McIntosh and the renewed search efforts?
Barry McIntosh tracked down crucial coordinates from a prison officer's memory and organized a 2024 search using drones and cadaver dogs; despite promising indications, the search did not locate remains, and there are calls for another attempt with better-aligned search areas.
