It seems like you’re just reading a summary article and not really understanding what you’re reading. The value in a podcast like this is cross referencing the whys, how’s and whats of a cult.
I follow another of Josh’s podcast and started listening to this one. Have been listening while at work and love it. Thoroughly regret knowing about “The Ant Hill Kids” cult and that sadist even existing, but will continue listening like a dummy LOL. Love your hosting Josh.
As a Canadian and someone who is fascinated by cults, I want to like this. Josh seems likeable and I listen to his other podcast and enjoy it. I think if he did better research and didn’t have clueless guests, it would be much better. I have listened to a few episodes (early ones so I’m hoping things will become better) and I find the guests really annoying and for the love of G-d please learn to properly pronounce names!! It’s so distracting to hear peoples,places and other names mispronounced ... more
The co host needs to pay attention so they can follow the story and stop asking so many questions, resulting in the host repeating themselves.
Audio quality and topics are great though! I wish the co host wasn’t so detrimentally distracting so I could continue listening.
I would love to actually listen to a story/podcast without the constant interruptions about politics, white men, and Joe Rogan. It’s all over the world as it is. Let’s just enjoy a nice podcast without it please, we all clearly know where you guys stand
