  • Great Overall

Many of the lectures are very good. Skip the cult and the prison gang ones, though. You won’t learn much about either.

Would enjoy more variety of subjects. History has a lot of great topics.

  • 1876 Great Sioux War

I was just grinding my teeth this entire lecture. It was extremely biased against USA. Is the Professor by any chance Native American for crying out loud? It was too one sided for me. He was unsuccessful in taking a balanced approach. Too much liberal sentiments studded this interesting subject. 🤷🏻‍♂️

  • Mark Moyar on Vietnam

It was very informative and points out how some historians and journalists have clearly overlooked what was happening in South Vietnam from 1968-73. After 1967, many on the left focus on what was happening in America while selectively highlighting a few highly negative events in South Vietnam.

FEED DROP: BN+ David Sirota "Master Plan"
Q: What advice would you give to someone looking to start similar projects in journalism or publishing?
Focus on additive journalism that uncovers new information rather than sensational riffs; build transparent sourcing and countervailing power through independent media, and be prepared for the long, resource-intensive journey of truthful reporting.
FEED DROP: BN+ David Sirota "Master Plan"
Q: What does the Powell Memo reveal about the system, and why is it still relevant today?
Powell Memo outlined a framework where corporate power seeks to shape politics and the judiciary; its public emergence and subsequent court rulings helped normalize corporate influence and limit anti-bribery provisions, a pattern the guest argues persists in contemporary politics.
FEED DROP: BN+ David Sirota "Master Plan"
