  • Non-partisan?

The topics, guests, and discussions are interesting and well conducted. However, I’m struggling to see how you can describe your show as non-partisan — the bias is quite obvious.

  • Not a “return to reason”

If you believe in climate change, and everything else that’s logical and ethical, this is not the podcast for you. Canada can do much better without this particular “leader”.

Land Claims vs Property Rights: Canada’s Next Big Legal Fight
Q: What are the three agreements concerning the Musqueam and what do they imply for property rights?
The discussion references a Rights Recognition Agreement which acknowledges Musqueam Aboriginal title and outlines the nature of relationship; other agreements are mentioned as part of a broader set of claims, with concerns about their impact on private property and unambiguous ownership.
The Battle Over Hunting, Fishing, and Crown Land in Canada
Q: What can citizens do to help preserve public access to Crown Lands?
Engage with local representatives (MLAs/MPs), participate in municipal discussions, push for transparency and accountability, and support organizations that advocate science-based, inclusive policy and funding for conservation.
The Battle Over Hunting, Fishing, and Crown Land in Canada
Q: How do you view the role of government in maintaining access and resolving conflicts among stakeholders?
Government should facilitate inclusive, transparent dialogues with all stakeholders, ensure scientific basis for decisions, and protect public access while balancing First Nations rights, but avoid handing over control to non-democratic boards or special interests.
The Shocking Reason Your Grocery Bill Keeps Rising
Q: Why is food inflation decoupled from general inflation, and what policy choices have driven this?
The decoupling is structural, driven by interprovincial trade barriers, non-uniform labor and regulatory regimes, and policies like tariffs that raise food prices; missteps such as broad GST credit measures add demand pressure without addressing underlying supply issues.
The Shocking Reason Your Grocery Bill Keeps Rising
Q: And Sylvain, what does 2026 look like for the Canadian economy?
Weak growth and a fairly flat economy are forecast, with inflation persisting in the grocery sector and real estate corrections continuing, which dampen consumer confidence and private-sector investment.
