  • Non-partisan?

The topics, guests, and discussions are interesting and well conducted. However, I’m struggling to see how you can describe your show as non-partisan — the bias is quite obvious.

  • Not a “return to reason”

If you believe in climate change, and everything else that’s logical and ethical, this is not the podcast for you. Canada can do much better without this particular “leader”.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Canada Wants to Take Away Your Church’s Charitable Status
Q: Why is this framed as a threat to Western civilization in the discussion?
Because religious organizations have historically anchored values, rights, and charitable work that undergird civil society and prosperity, and removing their status could undermine these foundations.
Canada Wants to Take Away Your Church’s Charitable Status
Q: What would be the broadest impact of revoking charitable status for houses of worship?
The removal would affect not only religious services but also community programs, charitable activities, and property tax exemptions, hitting vulnerable groups that rely on church-based services.
Why Bill C-9 Could Change Canada Forever
Q: What do you think is going to happen with expanded hate speech prosecutions?
The guest suggests expanded hate speech laws would target politically incorrect individuals more than protected groups, highlighting alleged double standards in enforcement and the risk of criminalizing expressions rooted in religious beliefs.
Why Bill C-9 Could Change Canada Forever
Q: Can you quick list off the other ones as well?
The guest outlines concerns about Bill C-8 (Cybersecurity Systems Protection Act) and the Online Streaming Act (Bill C-11), describing powers to kick Canadians off the internet and give the cabinet broad oversight without due process.
Why Bill C-9 Could Change Canada Forever
Q: So am I just being histrionic and dramatic when I talk about that? Or is there some truth to that?
The guest argues there is a real concern about a 'war on truth' and that proposed bills are part of a broader trend toward controlling speech and information, threatening religious liberty and due process.
