  • Such great in depth info!

My inquiring mind ALWAYS wants to know more than the handful of talking points for these criminal cases! Thanks to your entire crew for getting to the nitty gritty! One suggestion for Jesse for those of us listening in busy places..PLEASE keep the volume of your voice UP and evenly toned, you probably don’t realize your voice gets super low and muffled when you “sidebar” your thoughts! I keep having to rewind and listen again and again! =P

  • Great podcast, but audio levels too low

This is a great podcast, and Jesse has many knowledgeable guests on to speak about the various legal issues involved. However, my one beef is that the volume is way too low in the recording and I have to turn it way up. Maybe turn the recording volume up a smidge? Other than that, keep up the great work!

  • daily news

I always look forward to listening to Sidebar every morning. It’s like my daily news! I love how Jesse also brings on guests who are practicing or retired attorneys. I’m interested in law, and this show helps me prepare for future cases and how to not have a biased opinion, but rather look at FACTS and details of a case. Thanks again L&C!

Mom Killed Her 4 Kids in Twisted Drugging: Cops
Q: What would be some red flags in a situation like this?
Red flags include escalating parental alienation, frequent changes to custody arrangements, moving to separate towns or states, withholding access to the other parent, and documented communications showing plans to harm or manipulate the children, all of which may indicate a risk to the children if not properly monitored by the courts or protective services.
D4vd's Life Behind Bars Revealed!
Q: How does daily life inside the cell look for a celebrity inmate awaiting trial?
The inmate is typically housed in a single cell with 24-hour monitoring, limited movement, escorted to court, regular welfare checks, access to essential materials, and controlled commissary and medical provisions to maintain safety and health.
D4vd's Life Behind Bars Revealed!
Q: What do you know about the Twin Towers Correctional Facility and why is it chosen for high-profile inmates?
The facility is designed with better mental health care and special housing to keep high-profile inmates safe, separated from the general population to prevent harm, extortion, or self-harm, especially at the start of confinement.
Counselor CAUGHT in Bushes with Teen Girl!
Q: How did the counselor describe his duties and training in relation to safeguarding students?
He explains he works with freshmen and has training in counseling theory but acknowledges he is not a licensed therapist, while the investigators challenge this by noting policy and ethical violations in his conduct with the student.
Counselor CAUGHT in Bushes with Teen Girl!
Q: Is there any reason that a school counselor is meeting with a 15-year-old girl outside of school up in the middle of the woods?
The respondent argues that the situation was framed as a welfare check and insists the interaction was presented as care or support, but investigators and the host stress that the setup crosses professional boundaries and ethics and is not appropriate form of counseling.
