Law and Disorder is a new weekly podcast looking at the biggest issues in the news through the prism of the law. We've brought together three of the UK's best legal minds: recently retired High Court judge Sir Nicholas Mostyn, barrister and human rights campaigner Baroness Helena Kennedy, and Charlie Falconer, a Labour peer and former Lord Chancellor. more

I love the idea of this podcast. But it’s unfortunate that the speakers tend to talk over the top each other and it can become a competition as to who can shout the loudest. Secondly, the speakers occasionally put forward their political views rather than just sticking to the law. Finally I feel as though their defence of the judiciary is a little one-eyed. In any democracy, citizens have the right - indeed a responsibility - to express their opinions even if that is critical of the judiciary. more
Refreshingly, a show where the hosts aren’t afraid to disagree with each other.
Excellent podcast - and would have given 5 stars if you could just stop interrupting and talking over each other - please! I want to hear what you all have to say. Thanks!
This is a thought-provoking podcast. Helena Kennedy is both the best and worst of the trio. Her contributions are always fluent and insightful; but she constantly interrupts and is intolerant of anyone else’s opinion. She never allows Falconer to challenge her statements. Quibbles aside, this is worth your time.
Fab podcast. Please give it a go.. The issues discussed are spot on and the arguments are deeply informative made by three lawyers who have true knowledge and not just opinions more
