I love this show, it’s so informative and helps me to understand the application of law, criminality and sentencing, and the politics around these for example, in a fact, not sensation based way.
Ken MacDonald and Tim Owen have a great way of explaining, illustrating and discussing the implications of the topics.

I really enjoy listening to this podcast having recently discovered it after it was recommended in discussions about a legal case which hit the news. I’ve become a regular listener and am working my way through the back catalogue too! It’s accessible and everything’s well explained and clear. Thanks for making my commute more interesting :)
I’m a long time listener to this and several other podcasts about English law and/or lawyers. Double jeopardy is by far the best in terms of contemporary legal issues, political context and clear, concise and thoughtful commentary. Try a couple of episodes if you don’t believe m.
I found this podcast because I was looking for information on particular subjects. I have remained as a subscriber because it is so interesting, even on subjects that I know nothing about and that I thought I cared little about. It is an education and raises my understanding of the world above the mundanity of everyday problems.
I’m always thrilled to see this in my feed on a Wednesday morning. Always balanced, Ken and Tim offer a different perspective and insight than a lot of the other politically focussed podcasts I also enjoy, which makes their take particularly interesting.
