Liz Dye is a queen. Andrew is brilliant (They both are) and I throughly enjoy this podcast. But it’s really for intelligent folk. If you don’t like it, it’s probably over your head.
There are way better law podcasts than this one. Cannot stand the male host either, he sounds like he doesn't do much research and talks about areas of law he doesn't understand.
I generally like this program. I listen regularly and followed it under its previous title. That said I feel like the explanation of “per se” and “per quod” might deserve a revisit. “Per se” is when a statement is false outright or “on the face of it.” “Per quod” is when the defamation is implied. For “per quod,” some states like Missouri have an “innocent construction” defense, meaning that is the statement is true in its most innocent interpretation, then it is not defamatory.
Law breakdowns but AT did his victims and former cohost waaay dirty, and LD is fine with sweeping it all under the rug.
Instead, go listen to
Opening Arguments, they have excellent breakdowns and informed discussions of current events, as well as this thing called ethics.
Its distressing to watch from the sidelines and see the death of the United States but these are the people that will keep you informed as to how the idiots in charge of America are trying to do it.
