  • Great rock and metal guests but

Check out the review from this other reviewer Mike. His assessment is spot on. Agree 100% with all his points. This host is a nice enough guy and has great guests. So I bumped it up to 4 stars.

  • ANNOYING interviewer!!!

Wow, this guy Shawn is NOT a good interviewer. Thought I’d check out his interview with Don Dokken. Anyone who is a fan of Dokken knows interviews with Don are ALWAYS good….as long as the interviewer doesn’t CONSTANTLY interrupt, and talk over him. This guy asks a question, Don starts to answer, then this goof begins talking over him, providing his own observations. On top of that, his mouth seems to work at twice the speed of his brain since numerous times he’s almost unintelligible when he’s a... more

Tesla's Dave Rude talks new album HOMAGE, Motley Tour and original music recording challenges
Q: What is the strategy for balancing a big tour with new material from the homage album?
The plan is to hit the hits on heavy rotation while potentially sprinkling in new tracks from the homage album later in the tour when the set is a bit longer, testing the waters with fans who already know the legacy material.
Tesla's Dave Rude talks new album HOMAGE, Motley Tour and original music recording challenges
Q: How are you approaching recording this album given the touring schedule?
Recording is easier when you can do some parts on the road, but the drums and the vocalist typically require a real studio; overall, it's a mix of on-the-road tracking and studio sessions to finish things up.
Tesla's Dave Rude talks new album HOMAGE, Motley Tour and original music recording challenges
Q: Is it hard to just not release music given the economy and need to tour?
It's tricky; we want to write and release more, but the economy and the way streaming pays can make full album cycles unfeasible, so singles and selective releases make sense.
Tesla's Dave Rude talks new album HOMAGE, Motley Tour and original music recording challenges
Q: Good evening, and welcome to Laughing Monkey, Teva and Dave Rude from Tesla. How are you doing today?
We're doing well and excited to talk about the new album and the tour, navigating how to deliver fresh material while playing crowd-pleasing hits.
Paul Booth: The Dark Art Visionary Who Redefined Tattooing, Horror, and Creative Expression
Q: How has your work evolved from traditional tattooing to encompass music and fine art?
Booth explains that his creative exploration across mediums is driven by a stubborn curiosity and a belief that each medium informs the others, while always returning to the core tattoo and personal artistry as the anchor.
