Med student here… Really appreciate your work!
It’s so important to find a passion. My 4 year old and I are excited to hear your stories and thoughts. Every car ride is so important. Thank you
I enjoyed this a lot and look forward to listening to new episodes but if I may add a small suggestion. If it’s possible to increase the audio in the podcast cause sometimes it sounds very low.

I would recommend this to anybody who enjoys Greek mythology, etymology, looking to expand their vocabulary, or add an addition to their college r... more
I hyper-fixate on learning new material related to vocabulary, word origin, grammar, etc and this is perfect. My attention span is not the greatest but your podcast keeps me hooked! 👍

A rhetoric-focused language show that makes Latin and word origins approachable for a broad audience. Episodes blend close-reading, etymology, and practical linguistics across topics from medical terminology to legal phrases, with personal reflections on translation, teaching, and language revival. Listeners likely appreciate accessible explanations, dad-joke humor, and a teacher-like cadence that makes complex roots feel relevant to everyday English and modern culture. A standout trait is the emphasis on language as a living, connective tool, not a dead subject, often tying ancient roots to contemporary life and professional interests.
