Big tech is transforming every aspect of our world. But how? And at what cost? This season of Land of the Giants – The Twitter Fantasy – will tell the story of Twitter (X) at a crucial moment for the platform, exactly one year after Elon Musk took over. Hosted by Vox senior correspondent Peter Kafka, the four-episode season will survey the company's outsize influence on politics and culture. How d... more

In October 2022, Elon Musk made the world’s most expensive impulse purchase. His reasons for buying Twitter were murky at best, but in the story he tells now, he’s saving civilization. In the final episode of this season, we look at Twitter today, in... more

A podcast on Big Tech could easily be on a permanent rant, and I am glad this one is not. We all know that Amazon wants world domination, Google does not care about being evil or not anymore, and Twitter/X is doomed. I learned new things in each season that I found interesting, without scandalization and sensationalism but critical. How can calling out Amazon’s business practices as „carnivorous“ be perceived as being too soft on them?
Very liberal/left leaning with disdain for conservative viewpoints on full display, but to their credit much of the facts appear correct.
I stayed off listening to the Amazon podcast series and was hooked. I think the apple one was my favourite so far but the Tesla one is a close second!! Just started the delivery platforms series…and as a restaurant owner it’s interesting to hear so much from the founders and other restaurant peered. 5 stars all around ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I am new to this show with season 8 and plan to backtrack to listen to all the past seasons. As I read through the comments I see people saying it is too sympathetic to Elon and others saying it is liberal media brainwashed content. What I love about those responses is that it shows that the podcast is bringing in many perspectives and, for the most part, is speaking about events as they happened and have been reported by the people involved. more
