It is crazy that at the start of every game, Rachel Nichols flashes the white power symbol with her left hand, for a long time during her monologue. You can go back and check. She did it from the preseason on. She obviously does not Want to be around “those” people. It devastated my children and I when we saw it. It is awful to do to the young, full of hopes and dreams.

It is clear she wants to do something else. Let her do that something else away from our sons and daughters.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Destination For LA Sports HR 2: USA Advances!
Q: Where do you see the Lakers' ceiling with this roster, and what could still be added?
The Lakers sit in the middle tier; they likely need another wing and a guard/contract strategy to add depth without sacrificing cap space, and a future upgrade could come via trade deadline or buyouts.
Destination For LA Sports HR 2: USA Advances!
Q: What is the quick assessment of Belgium as an opponent for the USA?
Belgium is better on paper with high-end talent, but the USA can win if they manage ball control, leverage set pieces, and exploit weaknesses; the matchup is not insurmountable.
Lakers Talk HR 2: Robert Horry Joins the Show!
Q: What did Robert Horry think about the Lakers' new era and how the pieces fit around Luka and AR?
Horry emphasized the need for defense, defensive grind, and wing versatility to complement the star pairing, while acknowledging that growth will come from the young players earning trust and improving defensively.
Destination For LA Sports Hour 1: Andy Kamenetzky
Q: Broadly, do you think there's enough talent where the Lakers, should they keep the 25th pick, could have a real option in front of them?
Garcia argues that the late first round has good center depth and several players who could be NBA-ready for a rotation role, making it feasible for the Lakers to find a viable contributor at the 25th pick.
Lakers Talk HR 2: NBA Teams as World Cup Nations
Q: Here's number one, Spain. Spain to me is most equivalent to Oklahoma City. They're young, they're deep, they're very frustrating to play against because in soccer you never touch the ball.
The analogy explains that Spain's depth and development resemble OKC's young core—constant pressure and a challenging, team-oriented style that relies on depth and growth.
