  • Rachel Nicols

It is crazy that at the start of every game, Rachel Nichols flashes the white power symbol with her left hand, for a long time during her monologue. You can go back and check. She did it from the preseason on. She obviously does not Want to be around “those” people. It devastated my children and I when we saw it. It is awful to do to the young, full of hopes and dreams.

It is clear she wants to do something else. Let her do that something else away from our sons and daughters.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Lakers Talk HR 1: A New Duo!
Q: What's the Lakers' biggest difference this upcoming Finals compared to last year?
Allie suggests depth and size as the core differentiators, emphasizing that teams now need two to three players at critical spots to match the evolving competition and health dynamics.
Lakers Talk HR 2: To Play Or Not To Play
Q: If the Rockets win game five, could that be a momentum shift and what would that mean for the series?
A Rockets win in game five would likely shift momentum back in their favor, especially with potential return of Austin Reaves, and would raise questions about LA's ability to close out on the road while Houston sustains its improved tempo and defense.
Lakers Talk HR 2: To Play Or Not To Play
Q: What are some of the defensive adjustments that stand out to you for Houston in game four?
The biggest adjustment was the Rockets switching basically all actions, which flattened the Lakers' offense, prevented easy rotations, and disrupted sets. This forced the Lakers to rethink ball handlers and look to different conduits, changing the rhythm of the game.
Lakers Talk HR 1: Up One Love
Q: What were some of your biggest takeaways from that night?
Jovan Buha emphasizes the Lakers' preparation, strategic adjustments, and LeBron's leadership, with Kennard's playoff impact highlighted and Durant's availability casting a shadow over how Houston might respond in game two.
Lakers Talk HR 2: Getting Tougher
Q: Is the Lakers' best path to success without LeBron or with him in the lineup?
The hosts acknowledge it's case-by-case and matchup-dependent; while LeBron adds talent, his presence also creates complexities that can hinder a simple, streamlined offense.
