I found the Kelly Hoppen interview uncomfortable to listen to. Rochelle sounded underconfident and often out of her depth. Her questions meandered, she stumbled over her words, and she fell back on the same tired phrases like “what does that look like?”, “I ask all my guests this,” and “I LOVE that!” She almost always brings up the Jo Malone interview, which by now feels repetitive and a little dismissive of her current guest. I think this could have been edited better to make this snappier and overall shorter. The length of the episode is daunting, and loses my interest due to how long it is. Some bits for example, Mr investor and his $250k to avoid capital gains, is perhaps not one for the wider audience to hear and could (or should) have been edited out.
Some of Rochelle’s questions are so slow I’m surprised the interviewee can retain their engagement.
