  • THE BEST LA NEWS SOURCE!!!

Started listening to this podcast early into the Covid pandemic because I found them to be the best place to hear what was going on around LA, but the show is still my first source for all news related to LA today. The team was on top of all the 2025 LA fires coverage, and it continues to be my preferred place to find out more about upcoming LA political campaigns. Thanks to the hosts for bringing their wonderful personalities and enthusiasm to every piece of news, and it’s also always produced ... more

  • Best LA podcast

Excellent for staying up to date on LA area news, specifically anything with a political lens (but honestly you should be listening if you want to understand what is happening around LA regardless)

  • Longtime subscriber - YMMV

I’ve been subscribed to this show since it started and loved the hyper local coverage of scandals, politics and happenings. I even stayed subscribed through their endorsement of Sheriff Villanueva! But the constant giggles and sarcasm is agonizing. I find myself stopping the show 15-20 minutes in and don’t go back. I can get with a joke here and there but the sarcasm and “dry wit” can come off as disrespectful and dismissive of really important topics like policing and homelessness. I have found... more
