  • Phil’s Got It!

The most recent version of the show sounds like it’s the best version! He has had several sidekicks in the past, but Phil focused, is probably the best!

  • New Format

I’ve been a faithful listener for years and love the show, but this new format of breaking episodes up into (sometimes) 4 minutes increments, including countless adds, makes it practically unlistenable.

  • Afternoon Dive

As an independent I appreciate the respectful, thoughtful and considerate approach Philip and E take on all topics. I appreciate how they discuss the facts and get past all the political noise. I rarely miss a show.

  • Great show! Tend to choose them over others

Ray Appleton got me into talk radio. I LOVE Ray’s show (always have); however, I’m catching myself choosing to listen to Philip and E more. These two balance each other out very well. They can respectfully disagree but still joke and be friends. Recommend to anyone as they bring in politics but also “other” items.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Suing the Feds, Bobby Salazar and Facial Recognition
Q: What is the expectation of privacy when it comes to facial recognition technology used by law enforcement?
To me, the Constitution is the closest thing to a holy text that we have in this country, and the Fourth Amendment doesn't justify these things.
Suing the Feds, Bobby Salazar and Facial Recognition
Q: Is there any indication that these lesser charges, these mail fraud charges, were added because of a distaste for Mr. Salazar on a personal level?
No, I don't think the charges suggest much at all. I mean, it's just everything in a kitchen sink approach.
Election Day and Voter ID Laws
Q: Do you have any particular strong opinion on voter ID?
Yes, I am for voter ID; however, there are concerns about the ease of mail-in ballots without ID checks.
No Kings, Newsom’s Love of Chaos, and Bolton in Court
Q: Do you think Newsom should be held responsible if protests turn violent?
Philip states that anyone who breaks the law should face consequences, and he doesn't believe Newsom should be held accountable unless evidence shows he facilitated any unlawful behavior.
No Kings, Newsom’s Love of Chaos, and Bolton in Court
Q: What do you think about Newsom's call to protest?
Philip discusses Newsom's motivations and reflects on Fresno's history with protests, emphasizing the need to conduct them peacefully.
