  • Phil’s Got It!

The most recent version of the show sounds like it’s the best version! He has had several sidekicks in the past, but Phil focused, is probably the best!

  • New Format

I’ve been a faithful listener for years and love the show, but this new format of breaking episodes up into (sometimes) 4 minutes increments, including countless adds, makes it practically unlistenable.

  • Afternoon Dive

As an independent I appreciate the respectful, thoughtful and considerate approach Philip and E take on all topics. I appreciate how they discuss the facts and get past all the political noise. I rarely miss a show.

  • Great show! Tend to choose them over others

Ray Appleton got me into talk radio. I LOVE Ray’s show (always have); however, I’m catching myself choosing to listen to Philip and E more. These two balance each other out very well. They can respectfully disagree but still joke and be friends. Recommend to anyone as they bring in politics but also “other” items.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

JD Vance’s Interview With Joe Rogan
Q: All right, I wanna talk about the Epstein thing.
The discussion emphasizes that while the Epstein files contain a lot of material, much of it is not dispositive of crimes, and prosecutors must rely on strong, probative evidence to secure convictions; releasing everything could mislead the public and harm reputations.
Fresno Community Parent Coalition’s Kristina Holmes-McIntryre
Q: What are the three specific demands you've asked Fresno Unified to meet?
The three demands include ending self-investigations by the district, increasing transparency, and ensuring timely, direct communication with families about incidents and investigations.
Fresno Community Parent Coalition’s Kristina Holmes-McIntryre
Q: Describe what Fresno Community Parent Coalition is, how long it's been around, and what your goals are.
Fresno CPC is a group of parents who advocate for better engagement with the school district, help with administrative meetings and IEP processes, write inquiries, and educate families on due process to ensure students receive appropriate services.
Tuesdays with Terry: US Troops Killed and Missing After Iranian Attack in Jordan
Q: Does there need to be reporting of every casualty for the sake of the service member's care and VA claims, or is withholding information a tactical choice?
The guest argues that some data is logged in medical records and can affect individual care and future VA evaluations, implying that there is value in recording and acknowledging injuries, but the decision to report publicly might be driven by tactical considerations rather than a straightforward need for accuracy.
Voters to Decide on Prop 5
Q: How do you think Prop 5 would change the way recalls operate in practice?
It would remove the second 'replacement' question on the ballot, meaning the replacement would be determined later through a separate process, potentially reducing the number of immediate choices and increasing political maneuvering; the host and caller discuss both potential benefits and risks of this approach.
