Was very excited given the host’s background but this is a big let down. The explanations and analysis are disappointingly surface level. The few mental health takes are simplistic at best, highly dubious at worst. Stiff delivery yet also weirdly salacious/sensational in tone? Plus you don’t learn anything new you wouldn’t already know if you were aware of these stories (as most true crime fans will be) - so why at I listening?
I appreciate the detailed history of the person behind the crime. Certainly there is no excuse for any of their crimes, but the patterns of these murderers is clear and useful for understanding of what leg them to that moment.
In every episode there is a buzzing/hum in the background, it is making me cuckoo. Ugh…make it stop, please. It’s so distracting.
I love it all. The sociopath, psychopath, narcissist, sadist murderers.y favorite is BTK. He’s such an evil dork.
What about the Green River Monster?! I’ve been waiting for that in depth explanation. pleaseeee…
And of course, Candace you’re my favorite BAU!! Except for the BTK specialist, Kathrine Ramsland.
I love everything about this podcast. I was an all-day, daily listener while catching up on past episodes. The way Candice tells a story is perfect. If you are a true crime junkie, then this is for you!
