Great podcast, an excellent idea, terrific guests, very knowledgeable… but Charlie’s gotta go, he ruins it for me.
I really look forward to these! Always smart, funny. Uniquely interesting views into the different life experiences of the guests.
An interesting and original idea (and great name for the podcast) but for some reason they opted to do the "Morning Zoo" shtick (complete with forced over-the-top laughing) - complete with their version of the (much less funny) Artie Lang/Jim Norton comedic side-kick that seems intent to just derail the flow of the conversation. A few tweaks and this could be an incredible podcast.
Bill Florio, MC Charlie Boswell (both from the great NYC punk band Bugout Society) and Dave Harrison interview people with some connection to the punk rock/hardcore scene about their jobs. Really inspiring to hear how involvement with the DIY community has influenced career choices for people and the show is a lot of fun to listen to.
But please get Charlie a proper microphone if he’s gonna be crackin’ wise!
Keep up the good work
