  • Excited about trials with Rowdy in Indy!

Love the voice of swimming on this episode. Rowdy Gaines is the best…so humble as stated by the host. I enjoyed the inside take of the production side that happens for viewers at home. If you love the sport of swimming this is a terrific podcast to add to your queue.

  • Love Rowdy!

I started swimming as a kid after watching Janet Evans in ‘88 and have been in love with the sport ever since-still swim to this day and the water remains my happy place. I teared up listening to Rowdy describe his own swimming trajectory and his love for swimming and it comes through in the broadcasts. Totally the voice of swimming and an excellent embassador for the sport. Don’t listen to the haters-you guys rock!

  • Yaaaa!

So as a competitive swimmer, I LOVE listening to this podcast. I love how they bring in olympians, and it’s not like one of those things that are like yeah swimming this, swimming that, and I’ve been swimming for about 4 years, and this is VERY ACCURATE! Thanks! 🏊‍♀️

  • High Energy

This podcast talks a lot about the technical part of swimming and I am a swim nerd so I find it interesting. It also talks a bit about the current events in swimming such as world championships which is also fun to hear about.

  • In depth with swim stars

They get high level guests and work well as interviewers. Wish they addressed more of the management and future of the sport (ex. Trials cuts pod was really interesting, would love more on Safe Sport allegations, club growth and trends, etc) but guessing USA Swimming doesn’t want to look too closely at itself lol.

Gotta get Weitzel back to talk about Teri again…yikes.
