從飯店的透明浴室、餐廳的掃碼點餐，到公司裡填不完的表格，很多讓人不舒服的安排，其實都是某個系統為了節省成本、提高效率而做出的選擇。只是系統省下來的成本並沒有消失，而是換了一個位置，轉移到另一個人身上。
這件事放進人際關係裡也一樣。對方的沉默、逃避或控制，在他的世界裡，可能是當下最安全的做法；可是他的安全，也可能剛好建立在你的不安全上。

很多人以為自己還缺一套方法，真正卡住他的，可能是還沒讓現實參與。因為在事情做出去以前，我們擔心的問題大多只是猜測；只有進入現場，市場才會告訴你，客戶聽不懂什麼、內容卡在哪裡，以及下一步真正該補的能力。
