This is interesting and tragic. But Ben can’t seem to cope when his only hypothesis is challenged. Diminishes witnesses, clearly has no understanding of AFP referrals or crime thresholds. The episode where the 60 minutes producer basically outs Jeff for seeing “multiple men” in toilet cubicles made me feel extremely ill, considering it literally makes no difference to his innocence or guilt. I loved this podcast until I heard that. Now every following episode I can’t shake that distasteful feeling. Great deep dive, and I believe his sexuality may be a possibility for any reasoning behind her murder, but again. It made no difference to the case - why mention it. Such a shame.
