Needs editing to shorten up and make it more exciting. It’s just meandering and drawn out.
The podcast started off from factual reporting but gradually evolved into a one sided hunt. The last interview with Linda was so pointed at times it felt both defensive and biased. To make investigative podcasts valuable and believable, more balance is needed. Otherwise there may be others willing to help provide information but feel they will be crucified when they do and never bother. Try to also understand from the husband’s point of view too: people who have undergone loss grief differently.... more
The episode where the 60 minutes producer basically outs Jeff for seeing “multiple men” in toilet cubicles made me feel extremely ill, considering it literally makes no difference to his innocence or guilt. I loved this podcast until I heard that. Now every following episode I can’t shake that distasteful feeling. Great deep dive, and I believe his sexuality may be a possibility for any reasoning behind her murder, but again. It made no difference to the case - why mention it. Such a shame.
Interesting story and great to get it out there however very repetitive. Elements were brought up and covered as new information far too often, so it was difficult to stay interested.
Absolute rubbish from a hack “journalist” with blinders on who bullies the one interviewee who doesn’t tally with his version of events. Yes the case warrants a more thorough investigation. But not by this idiot.
