All of Hedley Thomas’s podcast are so thorough, I hope all of Bronwyn’s loved ones get the answers they deserve.
I have appreciated the careful accounts and information, and all the interviewees generosity sharing info to give content for this case, and for the team building the story episodes for us. I’ve struggled tho with the strong creaky vocal fry of Maddie, and some of the other younger women. Have had to turn off a few times cos it just is so grating for me unfortunately.
An important story but its constant reiteration without progressing much. Long episodes without anything material seems a bit of a time waste.
What are the police doing??? Are they waiting for JW to die a free man?? What are they doing about this????
The message police are sending out to all women of domestic violence is “we WILL do very little little to help you” “do not expect anything from us”.
It is an appalling and damaging message that is being demonstrated due to this inaction not just from the police but also from the entire justice system.
