this podcast has some interesting dialogue between the hosts, but the volume between the two is so different I constantly keep having to change my volume when one person or the other is talking.it's also difficult to keep up sometimes because I can't find the source material anywhere so it's hard to keep up with what is actually happening in each chapter.

Really interested in the commentary about this great work. So difficult to listen with loud kitchen sounds banging in the background. Surely you knew you were recording a podcast? Maybe you could have recorded another time or perhaps ask the person in the kitchen save the dishes for later?

Will give 5 stars out of respect but truth to be told the other guy is just driving me crazy. His sound is unclear soft and not making listeners comfortable at all. Checked others’ reviews and apparently we all had the same experience, hope you guys can work this out otherwise you are ruining your show and that will be too unfortunate. Thanks

I would really like to listen to this podcast because the topic is very interesting to me. Unfortunately the sound quality of this podcast is very poor. It’s no fun to listen as a non-native speaker. I also checked Number 14 of this podcast but even then the sound quality doesn’t improve a lot.
Maybe you can change the recording technology or even think about rerecording the first sessions.

Great show. Like most Australian kids in the 80s I grew up with the stories of the Monkey King and the tale of the Journey to the West. Every evening around 5:30 we would be glued to the TV set as Monkey, Pigsy, and Sandy again had to rescue that fool priest Tripitaka from the clutches of some vile demon. This podcast brings it all back by exploring the original story and characters with great insight and huge reverence to the material.
