  • Such a great podcast

First listen to his shows on the PW torch. John is such a cool person and love his old school wrestling knowledge. Glad I can listen to his pod and every time I do I learn something new. Keep up the awesome work my good sir.

  • Must listen

Absolutely give this show your time. John is a walking encyclopedia of wrestling who has literally done it all. Who else can say he broke ground in the wrestling reporting genre AND been in the ring with Dusty Rhodes? One of THE BEST PODCASTS dedicated to pro wrestling

  • Dull and repetitive Gaga

The hosts don’t know their history, and can’t be bothered to learn it either. John sounds uninterested most of the time, and only likes to shill for his premium content. It’s like a couple of guys who haven’t kept up on anything for decades, deciding to give opinions on a subject they really don’t care about. 2 stars only for the old radio stuff, negative stars for when they cut in and opine over it.

  • A great trip through history

Each week, a fantastic time capsule trip back to wrestling as it was in the late 80s/early 90s. Never a dull episode, each one extremely interesting. Highly recommended either to fans who experienced this time period, or those who didn’t but are interested in hearing wrestling history as it happened.

  • PWS

I love the podcast. I have lived in South Georgia all my life so I obviously didn’t get to listen to this way back in the day. Great to hear all these old stories and interviews. What an important and groundbreaking show this had to be for the time. I always learn something new and you hear the wrestlers in a different way than the normal promo they would cut for a show. It was kind of a shoot interview in some respects before there ever were shoot interviews. Thanks so much.
